A 'Nice' Long Trip to France

It’s been a while since my last blog update – June is almost over already! I’ve spent the month juggling radio interviews and other business for 10Best, working out the details for Unaira’s upcoming summer rollout, and preparing my family to move to Nice, France for a month in order for me to be able to work more closely with Unaira’s global partner, Amadeus.

My recent radio interviews have gone surprisingly well. I was nervous at first about what might be asked, but I’ve found that I’m fairly comfortable talking with the hosts. After all, I’ve been talking about 10Best for 8 years now to whoever will listen—just ask Jill! Some of the release dates are yet to be determined, but be listening for me soon on Travel, Wine, and Cuisine with Christopher Davies (http://www.travelwinecuisine.com/index.html) and Into Tomorrow with Dave Graveline (http://www.graveline.com/).

Unaira is gearing up for some big happenings - we're working on establishing an office in Amsterdam, expanding our management team, and rolling out our new product in mid-August.

What’s has been really keeping me busy lately is preparing to move my family to Nice for just over a month. We’ve rented a house and plan to mainly live “like the locals,” but we will get our “tourist” fill with weekend trips to various European destinations, like the London and Camogli, Italy. I’m pretty excited about getting to experience some new destinations with my kids and seeing cities I do know well from a new point of view. Each member of the family is only checking ONE bag, so I really do live by my travel advice on the 10Best.com Press Center to “pack light”! The move will put me much closer to many of our business partners and in a better position to get the Amsterdam office open for Unaira as soon as possible. So, basically, I’ll be working during the week while Jill and the kids play in the sun in the Riviera. I wonder how much work I’ll actually get done….?
